Friends of the Festival

The Hampton Festival is a community event, organised by volunteers from the local area. We’ve been very fortunate to have wonderful support from our volunteers since our inaugural Festival in 2003, and we invite you to join us as a volunteer and be part of the fun. Without our volunteers, this premier event would just not be possible. It’s not just about giving back to the community – you’ll meet new people, make new friends, and discover our region’s hidden gems that you can continue to enjoy long after the festival.

If you have the time to assist in the lead up to the Festival and/or over the Festival weekend we would love you to register your interest on the form below.

Volunteers receive a free entry ticket to the Festival, refreshments and an opportunity to get to know others in the community and you’ll get plenty of time off to enjoy the atmosphere of the Festival day.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Hampton Festival. Please let us know when you’re available so we can include you in the information leading up to the Festival!

SET UP: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – Setup includes erecting small marquees, signs, perimeter fencing and flags, and general installation tasks. Some manual work required.

On the Festival Day the options are working the morning shift – 9am-12:30pm, or the afternoon shift – 12:30pm – 4pm. If you are part of the Eatery Area crew, the shifts will be broken down into smaller intervals.  You will be able to specify once you click on the ‘Become a Volunteer Today’ button.
