Food and Wine
Hampton Festival is a 'hands-on' experience, where all the senses are stimulated and you have the opportunity to taste, see, listen and enjoy. Here's some tips for the day. May mornings are cool at Hampton, so start your day with an invigorating brew from one of our coffee vendors.
Then have a wander and taste some wine. Scattered around Chapman Park you'll find wineries and breweries from Toowoomba, Meringandan and Crows Nest as well as a selection from the South Burnett and Granite Belt. Have a chat to the makers and try to unravel the mysterious art of transforming grape to wine and hops into beer, taste the fruits of their labour and grab a couple of bottles to take home.
By midday you'll be ready for lunch. A wide range of restaurants, cafes and food vendors will showcase their menu's at the Festival offering something for all tastes, from creamy Hampton smashed avocados on just baked woodfired sourdough, local ethically grown pulled pork, lamb & beef, to sweet treats using honey direct from local hives.
The High Country bar will give patrons a taste of some interesting craft beers and quality wines plus local Crows Nest soft drinks.
We can't wait to showcase the great food and wine experiences at the 2019 Hampton Festival!
