Festival Cooking Demonstrations
We are very excited that our celebrity presenter for the 2017 Hampton Festival is Paul West of River Cottage Australia fame!
Paul is passionate about sustainable farming and organic food so come and enjoy hearing about his experiences and learn some great ideas at his cooking demonstrations. The demonstrations are held in the Festival Chef's Tent just near the Southern entrance.
BeerMatt, Matt Kirkegaard, is the guru of beer. Based in Brisbane he is a freelance beer writer who has developed a national reputation as one of the few independent beer educators and advocates in Australia. Matt is passionate about beer and his enthusiasm is infectious... and you will get to experience some different beers in his sessions.
Local food producers will be showcasing the bounty of produce grown in the Hampton area at the Festival and you can hear all about if from Justin Russell, Half Moon Farm, Hampton.

Now we're not suggesting you have beer for breakfast, but then again Champagne Breakfasts are an established thing! Join Matt Kirkegaard as he highlights some of the curious flavours of beer that see it pair perfectly with breakfast...smoky bacon, fruit salad, banana and coffee are just a few of the flavours that you can find in beer that might surprise you
