Hampton Festival to donate to Matt Golinski Recovery Fund

Noosa-based chef Matt Golinski appeared at the Hampton Festival as our guest chef in 2008, 2009 and 2010.  We value the support of Matt during these years and the expertise, skill and knowledge he brought to the Festival.  

Tragically Matt lost his wife and three daughters in a house fire on Boxing Day 2011 and suffered terrible burns to 40% of his body.  The Hampton Festival would like to assist in Matt's recovery by donating to the Matt Golinski Recovery Fund, and by contributing the McComb Foundation.  A portion of the gate takings from the 2012 Festival will be donated after the event.  In addition, there will be a raffle on Festival day to raise further funds.  Buy a ticket and go in the draw to win a limited edition plate signed by top chefs Janelle Bloom, George Calombaris, Manu Feildel, Damian Heads, Alastair McLeod and Gary Mehigan.
