Locavores rejoice! The Hampton Festival has become synonymous with a diverse range of gourmet delights. Is it any wonder? Hampton's volcanic soils and temperate climate make it one of south east Queensland's most productive food bowls. Locally grown produce and quality food will again be the stars of the show in 2010.
Signature dishes from the region's best restaurants, boutique wines, cooking demonstrations and artisanal products like sourdough breads and preserves will be for sale alongside just picked fruit and veg. Explore the plethora of food available and while you're at it, why not have a chat to the stallholders about their produce and how it's grown.
