Locavores rejoice! The Hampton Festival has become synonymous with a diverse range of gourmet delights. Is it any wonder? Hampton's volcanic soils and temperate climate make it one of south east Queensland's most productive food bowls.

Locally grown produce and quality food and will again be the stars of the show in 2012.

Signature dishes from the region's best restaurants, boutique wines, cooking demonstrations and artisanal products like sourdough breads and preserves will be for sale alongside just picked fruit and veg. 

The Market Place is the place to be to catch the cooking demonstrations with celebrity chef Dominique Rizzo teaming up with new chef on the local scene, Dan Boller.  In between sessions enjoy the 'Growers' Gab' for a grassroots look at local food production, and to pick up the freshest local produce.
